Texas law recognizes four classes of social workers: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker-Advanced Practice (LMSW-AP), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW). The requirements are as follows:
